Gas Safety Week
The Gas Safety SuperHeroes had the pleasure of being invited to parliament for the launch of gas safety week in the last few years. We spoke to a private audience of key influencers in the Gas industry about ways of raising awareness and improving standards in our industry.
Media & Trade-shows
The Gas Safety SuperHeroes are active in promoting to improve standards in our industry through media and trade-shows. Several trade magazines have run articles about us: PHAM News, PHPI magazine, Installer magazine, and also HVP magazine ran an article on us when we took over the Worcester-Bosch twitter account for the day during gas safety week. We even had our own stand at some big trade-shows: Installer show in Coventry, Phex show in Alexandra Palace London and Phex show in Chelsea London.
From time to time the Gas Safety SuperHeroes launch competitions & give-away prizes on our social media accounts. We have received help from number of different manufacturers who have kindly donated prizes for our competitions & give-aways. One of our competitions was called “#Sightforsoreinstalls” which was to highlight bad boiler installations, boxed-in boilers, and how dangerous they can be.
The best (or worst) photos were entered into our competition with up to £1500 worth of prizes up for grabs!
All prizes were donated by manufacturers. First prize included a Vaillant EcoTec Pro 28 Boiler generously donated by Vaillant. The competition received over 100 entries and even caught the attention of The Mirror newspaper!
Other competitions have included a prize of a new Worcester boiler generously donated from Worcester-Bosch for Gas Safety week, and we have also gave away a Veto Pro Pac tool bag and Wera tools during Quality Plumber Week.
